This multi-level typography course is recommended for students who have completed Introduction to Typography, and for working designers interested in further developing their knowledge and skills in typeface use and design.
The course functions as a working lab with multiple projects designed to advance typography usage in print and web projects. Students work with type styles, type and image relationships, and type as image concepts. The history of typography, hand crafted and digital type styles, and current trends in type usage are discussed.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Typography or equivalent experience.
