Andrew was amazing! I went into this “workshop” with a bit of apprehension. All of these feelings drifted away as the night went on. What I loved about the event was the way it was carefully planned. Like a good “behind-the-scenes” featurette, Andrew described exactly what we were going to do, how it was going to play out, and what we were expected to gain from the results. Each activity was fun, interesting, insightful, and ultimately, I came away with an understanding of what needed to change, what was good and what could improve, all in the name of “Public Speaking 101”. Our local work team took this class to help us efficiently tell our brand story whether we have 10 seconds or 10 minutes. For being a virtual 90 minute course, it actually flew by. It was fun, interactive, and informative all at the same time. Andrew also offers a 15 minute personal follow up after the course to help you refine your pitch. I definitely suggest taking advantage of this to help put everything you learned to practice. -

Lizzy Wallace does a great job with this series. The thought of ever taking an improv class has TERRIFIED me. The intro to improv in part one of this series has eased my fear and was actually fun. Lizzy does a great job of making everyone feel comfortable. I am sure I said some dumb or weird stuff during the games, but I never felt self-conscious about it (and everything gives me anxiety). Overall, the series helps you put things into perspective and enables you to overcome some mental hurdles that you may have. Lizzy is super patient, genuinely kind, and generous with time and effort to help her students. I highly recommend it! -

Public Speaking 101
Public speaking was always been a dreaded thought of mine; it always made me feel anxious and apprehensive even at the thought of it. I was even anxious to take classes like this one because of the thought of needing to present. But Andrew gave us the tools necessary to combat the inner voice that becomes our saboteurs and that is essentially the core focus of the class...the rest follow. I learned how essential breathing is and all the little cues I never realized deterred me from speaking publicly well previous. I will definitely take more classes from The Story Source. -

I never thought I would be able to connect my brand's story to the pitch, but Andrew not only showed us how step by step but he also made the process so clear. The class was very insightful and I learned a ton, but what surprised me even more was Andrew's follow up session where we were able to develop my story and pitch even further, making it all go full circle. I will definitely be taking Andrew's other classes that he offers, as well as telling all of my peers about this one! -

I took this course 9 days ago, and just went over my notes last night. This course is a fun way interrupt your normal patterns of being and bring fun, play, and creativity into speaking. Throughout the weekend, we learned techniques and exercises to improve our voice, memory, creativity, and effectiveness in speaking. I wish I knew about these exercises sooner! -
