About PACE Business Development Center
PACE's Business Development Center (BDC), was inspired by the
needs of minority business owners after Los Angeles’ 1992 civil unrest. While PACE began as an organization to serve low income Asian Pacific Islanders (APIs), PACE clients today reflect the increasing ethnic diversity of our target areas in and around Los Angeles. PACE is recognized as a leader in addressing problems of poverty and economic inequity in minority, ethnic and immigrant communities.
PACE BDC aspires to develop the diverse Los Angeles community by empowering small business owners with the knowledge, tools and resources to successfully tap the marketplace and achieve their dreams. Although initially launched to provide emergency disaster loans to businesses affected by the riots, the BDC recognized the growing need to serve a broad spectrum of business owners in the market. To this end, we currently provide a variety of services for low-moderate small business owners and minority communities to not only start up, but also expand their businesses.
Our Mission: PACE Business Development Center is a local, non-profit organization that aims to advance the wealth of our communities. We give individuals the tools to develop sustainable businesses and successfully manage their personal finances.

State Labor Law & Payroll Tax Seminar
Hello, I was genuinely excited for this class and signed up 2 weeks in advance and asked for the day off of work to attend it. When I arrived to the building which I walked to from 2 miles away, not a single student showed up OR the teacher. When I asked the staff they didn't know why and had to call the teacher who sent out no notification, and he said he had an emergency and apparentley didn't any advance notice to students or staff and just didn't show up. I was given a post it with the date for the next time the class is offered ,which I don't see myself attending, after this. Was really looking forward to using your service but this was a huge bummer and waste of a lot of time. Not trying to insult this service, but this was my experience. -

Business Essentials for Entrepreneurs
Definitely exceeded my expectations, the instructor was ahh-mazing! Very informative, and personable. He made us all feel very comfortable. When engaging in open discussions no answer was the wrong answer. I think I learned more today than I have in all the years that I've spent in college. Would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested or pursuing a business. YOUR TIME IS NOW! -

Small Business Loan Workshop
I heard very well. And most of what I know. I feel secure loan is not so attractive. Unsecured loans can also be obtained at a rate of 6-10% interest. And it was amazing to see that financing conditions are even trickier than unsecured loans. Thank you anyway. -
