Question from Rebecca B.
Can we bring in a material other than driftwood to drape the terrarium over? Can you clarify what materials would work (i.e. a non-porous material? A different type of wood, etc?)
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Most materials will not be compatible with the molten glass. Driftwood is not essential to making the terrariums, so if they do not have any, the instructors will assist them in making a terrarium without it.

Question from Arafat M.
Are the terrariums draped over wood as in the photo? Or will the terrariums sit directly on a table?
Answer from Sarah S. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
If you wish to drape your piece over wood, the school asks that you bring in your own piece of driftwood. They have limited amounts, so most pieces made in this class will be without driftwood.
