If you are a theater fan, and are curious about Jewish influences on NYC theater, then join us for a tour of the historic Actors' Temple, an active Jewish synagogue smack in the middle of Broadway, with an extraordinary untold history!
In this tour, you'll learn all about the Temple's famous members and get an insider's view of its fascinating and beautiful galleries. The tour is led by Rabbi and Cantor Jill Hausman, a former singer and actress, who will lead a lively discussion about Jewish influences on Broadway and beyond.
Rabbi and Cantor Jill Hausman (a former singer and actress herself!) will share fascinating stories.
The Actors' Temple, a national landmark built in 1923, welcomed some of the greatest stars in show business history and is still an active congregation today. You'll hear stories about The Three Stooges, Jack Benny, Jerry Lewis and more! You will also get a guided tour of beautiful stained glass windows, and examine amazing photographs of Jewish theater history. An un-missable and un-forgettable glimpse into the historical and continuing tradition of Judaism and theater.

- Please arrive 15 minutes before the Tour begins. We will start on time since the venue’s schedule is usually tight. Look for someone wearing a Show-Score-branded hat and holding a Show-Score-branded clipboard.
- The Tour is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
- Each ticket price includes all fees.
