What you'll learn in this culinary (meals) class:

Nothing brings the family together at the table quite like a beautiful paella!

In this class, you will learn how to create one of spain’s most famous dishes. The smoky flavors of chorizo, and saffron perfectly infuse with the shrimp, rice & aromatic vegetables, to produce one of the most stunning dinners you will ever have. Wow your friends at your next dinner party with your new found signature dish!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). You will work with other students in groups of 2-4.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

the food was good, but the instructor didn't seem well-prepared. for the price, I would have expected more.

This class was well organized, informative, and engaging. I've taken a number of cooking classes and I found Chef Elliot's approach to cooking quite refreshing, focusing on the end result being a delightful meal rather than a perfectly executed recipe. He provided helpful tips along the way and made paella approachable. Will be making frequently!

Chef Eliott was enthusiastic and engaging. His cooking methods were simple and we were all able to create a very delicious meal. Thoroughly enjoyed this class!

I enjoyed the class and was pleased with myself that I tried something new. The recipe was easy to follow and the instructor made it very adaptable. It would have been nice to know that you make the paella in groups of four. While I went in a group of four, this may or may not be comfortable for others who attend by themselves or in pairs.

Chef Elliot was a great teacher, who made sure we had a safe and fun experience. He shared his chef skills and cultural experiences, what we could use as alternatives to certain ingredients, and the background of the dish. While we did work fast once the cooking started, his introductory lesson and technique carried us through it easily. Very fun, will look for the next lesson he teaches.
