What you'll learn in this kids fashion class:
Join The Fashion Class for a day of sewing, fashion and fun!
Children and Tweens ages 6-12 years old will spend their day learning how to create real clothing on a sewing machine plus design fashion and accessories. Campers will work with a group of up to fifteen other fashionistas during the Eid al Fitr holiday and public school break on June 4th 2019.
Each day breaks down into four classes with experienced instructors (and our CPR & First Aid certified TFC managers) who work in the fashion industry. Small class sizes allow each camper to get the attention and tools they need to design and create.
Please note: full day and half day campers will be in separate classes throughout the day.

Our spring camp projects will change each camp day.
Lunch/snack provided by parent.

The Fashion Class requires a waiver form to be signed for all participants under eighteen years of age by their parent or guardian prior to attending a class, camp or workshop with The Fashion Class.

Breakdown of the Day:
- Sewing: Our campers will sew real and wearable clothing on our Singer Quantum Stylist Sewing machines complete with LCD touch screen, finger guards and plenty of fun embroidery stitches! Sewing projects change each day of June Fashion Camp.
- Fashion Illustration: Campers will learn to sketch the fashion figure, draw and design clothing using paint, fashion markers and more.
- Fashion Branding: In this entrepreneurship themed class campers will conceptualize their own fashion brand with lessons on creating a logo, business cards, a fashion collection and more.
- Fashion NYC (full day only): This class explores different areas of fashion like fabric science, accessory design, technology, entrepreneurship and history (with realperiod costumes) by visiting designer showrooms, fashion museum exhibits and having fabulous guests join us in studio.

Refund Policy
Note: This provider has a temporary cancellation policy for COVID-19 related cancellations which is as follows:
Cancellations made 3 or more days in advance will receive a full credit for a rescheduled date with this provider

Classes & Workshops
Your child's registration can be transferred to another class time or day with one week notice (based on availability). Should you need to cancel your child's registration for any reason one week prior to the start date of the class The Fashion Class will process a refund (less the non-refundable 30% deposit and CourseHorse fees) within 10 business days. Cancellations made with less than 1-week notice will forfeit the class fee.
Camps
Your child's registration can be transferred to another class time or day with three weeks notice (based on availability). Deposits/payment cannot be transferred to another student. Should you need to cancel your child's registration for any reason one month prior to the start date of camp The Fashion Class will process a refund (less the non-refundable deposit and CourseHorse fees) within 10 business days.
o 15-30 days until the session start date, 50% refund
o 2 weeks prior to start of camp session, 25% refund
