Soccer Kids (Ages 5-6)

Through a series of creative and fun activities, we help kids in the development of their soccer skills (dribbling, shooting and passing), physical development (fine and gross motor development), socio-emotional development (working together, turn-taking, sharing, caring for others, etc), cognitive skills (learning colors, patterns, matching, math, science, etc), and communication skills.

The school offers a unique skill-building educational and fun program that introduces boys and girls ages 2- 7 years old to the wonderful game of soccer! We group children according to their age so that each age group will learn appropriate skills and lessons. As your child grows the skills they learn become more advanced. However, we are also mindful that each child is unique and try our best to address each child’s individual needs.

The coaches encourage choice making, listening, problem solving, and goal setting in a fun and supportive environment. In addition to their skills, we measure the success of every session by the number of smiles and high fives that our kids generate! We are passionate about the work we do here and strive to provide a fun, positive and warm environment for our kids. Come Join us.

What do I (my child) need to bring to class:

• Comfortable clothing (e.g.; shorts or sweat pants)
• Plenty of water
• Soccer Kids NYC t-shirt

Additional Location Instruction (St. Thomas The Apostle Gym): Enter on 88th Street, through the small door - to the left of the small parking lot. 

Note: Always arrive at least 5 minutes before class, some kids don’t respond positively when they are late to their first session.
