What you'll learn in this lecture class:

Anatomy for Acupuncture and Tui Na: Human Cadaver Lab

An in-depth exploration of the body and therapeutic modalities through the human cadaver lab. This course will describe functional anatomy of the neuromusculoskeletal system, as well as vascular and organ systems. Pathways of fascia, the nervous system, and blood flow will be linked to the clinical decision making process. Each area of the body will have a lecture component, followed by hand-on time in the cadaver lab to look at anatomical structures. Examination of specific tissues in which needles travel through will be demonstrated.

Goals and Objectives:

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the tissues and fascia beneath acupuncture points
Apply anatomical knowledge towards application of tui na
Learn how to incorporate qi gong and therapeutic exercises based on anatomical connections
Understand relationships between surface anatomy and internal structures and the clinical relevance of fascial/organ innervation

3 business days notice for 95% refund.
