Broadway Experience Summer Intensive Level 1 (11-14yrs)

Week one of our summer intensive offers over 75 triple threat based classes, workshops, and lectures split between three levels based on age and experience. 

Week two shifts focus to stage performance taking students through an intense rehearsal process culminating in a major performing opportunity.

​Level One is advanced beginner and offers introductory dance, voice, and acting classes for students ages 11-14. 

Our incredible faculty of Broadway teaching artists not only work closely with you, but take the time to coach, nurture and help you achieve every goal in a positive, encouraging, and supportive environment. ​

Requirements: 

• All students must submit an application via GetAcceptd which includes an application form, audition recording, headshot, (or high quality recent photo) and a non-refundable application fee of $25.00. 
• Students must be at least 11 years of age by July 1st and have at least two years of experience in one of the three disciplines of dance, voice, and acting in order to apply. We encourage but do not require students to take part in both weeks of our summer program. However, week two is only open to those who have completed week one. ​

Note: 

• Please bring two sets of dance clothes every day for morning and afternoon sessions. No jeans or outside shoes in the studios please. If choosing sports wear, please keep clothing items tight fitting yet comfortable enough to dance and move in. If you have them please bring jazz shoes, tap shoes, and dance sneakers. 
• Girls should also bring character heels but will NOT need pointe shoes. Shoes that have been painted are strictly prohibited from the dance center. This includes ALL dance studios and the theater. 
• Please also bring pens, pencils, and something to write on. An audio recording device will be required for all vocal classes and rehearsals. You may use your smartphone as an audio recording device but taking photos and recording video during class is strictly prohibited.
