Robert Bracket

Robert is an architecturally trained polyglot designer focused on the interface between technology and human creativity. He is Co-founder and Technical Director at Miscellaneous Projects, a New York based product design and branding practice. Miscellaneous Projects seeks to align multiple disciplines to craft an immersive product experience. Robert spends his days designing and developing projects at a multiplicity of scales ranging from digitally generated and 3D printed jewelry, Computer Numerically Controlled furniture design and fabrication, user interface & experience design, application architecture design, graphic design, and product identity design. He has been designing/developing web applications with Ruby on Rails for fun and profit since 2010 and has a passion for well formatted and structured HTML and CSS. 

Robert is also an experienced teacher. After graduating from Columbia University with a Masters in Architecture in 2007 he has held teaching appointments at Columbia University, Pratt Institute, RPI, and CityTech, teaching a range of subjects including: architectural design, urban design, computational design and fabrication technologies, parametric digital design & simulation, as well as web design and development for private clients and NYCDA. Robert values technology as a tool to enhance and extend our human capacities, being able to create and manifest vastly complex ideas is becoming ever easier, and computer programming offers an extensive platform for designing a better world.
