Aromatherapy for Beginners: Understanding Essential Oils is an introductory educational class designed to help students understand the fundamentals of aromatherapy, explore the properties of essential oils, and learn how these aromatic plant extracts are commonly used in wellness, relaxation, personal care, and everyday routines.
This class is divided into two learning sections to provide students with both interactive instruction and flexible, self-paced education. Part 1 consists of a one-hour live virtual stream session covering essential aromatherapy theory, foundational concepts, and a question-and-answer session with the instructor. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, strengthen their understanding of essential oils, and explore responsible aromatherapy practices.
Part 2 consists of an online learning experience featuring four course modules that students access by logging into their Peach Academy student accounts. These modules expand on the concepts introduced during the live session and provide structured lessons covering essential oil fundamentals, aromatic properties, safe handling, dilution principles, and practical applications.
By combining live instruction with online coursework, students can build a foundational understanding of aromatherapy at their own pace while developing the knowledge needed to explore essential oils more confidently and responsibly.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
School Notes: For live in person classes - student are responsible for bringing their practice kits. We will send out kit list via email of requirements with recommendation where they can purchase supplies.
