What you'll learn in this clothing class:
Students explore the contemporary design potential of non-traditional rug making techniques in creating wall hangings and rugs. Using hand held tools and various yarns, cloth strips, and other materials, participants experiment with color, texture, and sculpting to create a myriad of surfaces, patterns, and effects for rugs or wall hangings. Initial tools and practice materials to begin are provided for a $30 materials fee, payable at first class.
