On Consent: A Film Screening & Panel Discussion to Benefit Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington
Over a year after the allegations against Harvey Weinstein, the MeToo movement impacts everything from workplace culture to sex and dating. In “Consent: A Vice on HBO Special Report,” correspondent Isobel Yeung explores the "gray area" of consent and seeks answers to uncomfortable questions.
Join our host @RebaTheDiva, CEO of Sexpert Consultants LLC and the Ambassador Program for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington for a special benefit screening of this powerful short documentary that takes a personal look at how we define sexual consent, hold those who violate it accountable, and move forward.
After the screening we’ll hear from the documentary producers and a panel of experts to include renown sex educators, local sexual health professionals and sexual justice advocates about concrete ways we can address past traumas and successfully communicate and understand consent going forward.Panelists:
- Michelle Hope, Author & Sexologist
- Tahir Duckett, Fouder & Director, ReThink
- Alicia Sanchez Gill, Collective Action for Safe Spaces
- Libby Sinback, Educator & Relationship Coach
