Description

Make Your Own Beauty is a 5-evening certificate program on the Upper West Side of New York City that will get your current indie beauty business or the one you've dreamed about owning off of the ground. Students take five classes of training with Marla Bosworth, founder and owner of Back Porch Soap Company. Classes include skincare formulation, soap making and candle making. Marla has 25 years of indie beauty industry experience and 40 years of retail, market research, entrepreneurial and business expertise.

Classes are held from 6-8:30 p.m. at a convenient Upper West Side location just a block from the 1, 2 and 3 trains.

This course intensive is perfect for entrepreneurs who own a business as well as for budding entrepreneurs who are seeking training in the field of bath and beauty. Students receive a certificate of diploma.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
This excludes same-day class signups.
After 24 hours of registration, we do not offer refunds or class transfers due to our event rental space and travel situation.

If for some reason our class is cancelled (this has only been due to major snowstorms), we will promptly refund your registration in its entirety.
