Bootcamp Prep is an 8-week part-time course designed to help you achieve three goals:
PRE-WORK: 1 WEEK (REMOTE)
Bootcamp Prep is an 8-week part-time course designed to help you achieve three goals:
- Learn the fundamentals of coding in JavaScript, HTML, & CSS
- Find out for sure if you truly enjoy coding and show promise as a developer.
- Get admitted to a top bootcamp to build on your skills & become a software engineer!
PRE-WORK: 1 WEEK (REMOTE)
- Work at your own pace to complete four hours of setup, reading, and exercises.
- Get aligned with your class and ready to hit the ground running on day 1 of Core Training!
- Meet two evenings per week in a classroom with a 5:1 ratio of students to teachers.
- Work through challenges isolating specific learning objectives in JavaScript, HTML, & CSS.
- Get live support from instructors during class & office hours.
- Join two evening lectures focused on intermediate topics with teachers from partner bootcamps.
- Connect with FSC alumni enrolled in bootcamps you're interested in to get the inside scoop.
- Pull together everything you've learned over the course to build the front-end for a web application!
- Work independently or with a partner from class.
- Complete a mock bootcamp interview with an instructor to receive an official Bootcamp Readiness Score & next step recommendations.
Refund Policy
If you tell us you're unhappy with the program at the end of the 3rd class, we'll offer you the option to fully refund your tuition. We ask for you to wait until the 3rd class because we want you to give coding a fair chance. It can be challenging and even frustrating in the beginning, but the solution is almost always just more practice.
