A Bit of History

JuggleFit founder Heather Wolf couldn’t bear the thought of running away with the circus and not learning to juggle. While touring as a musician and living in a 7′ x 7′ room on a circus train, she practiced juggling in her tiny room and couldn’t believe what she discovered – juggling was a great workout – and it was fun!

Heather started teaching friends and family and noticed how it got them all laughing and having a good time. Some wanted to juggle all night long. Sharing a fun workout that people that didn’t want to stop could really help people stay fit. Heather couldn’t resist – JuggleFit was born.

The class was a lot of fun. The teacher did a great job of starting with simple steps and building on them. She also made everyone feel good about their participation. Breaking the basics of juggling down to a one hour session might sound impossible, but I went home knowing where to begin and where to go from there. Although juggling was challenging for me, the session made me feel like a champ.

Such fun! Heather was a patient teacher. Took time to provide personalized attention. I entered with little to no knowledge and left with helpful strategies that I can use to continue improving.

I took this class because I have never ever juggled. Heather was a really great teacher, very patient, and helped figure out why I was struggling. After an hour, I learned how to juggle and walked away with really great techniques that I'll keep practicing! It was fun!!

I was the only student in my class last week, so I basically had a private lesson! Heather's teaching style is great - warm, supportive, and encouraging while also helping me to see what mistakes I was making. We started out with scarves and then moved on to balls. I was surprised at how much less difficult juggling is than I'd been expecting - not that I'm wonderful at it after only an hour, by any means! But because it's simple enough to pick up the very basics, you learn enough in that amount of time to make it lots of fun. I purchased a set of juggling balls from Heather and have been practicing on my own over the past few days. She sent me a PDF of helpful juggling tips afterward, which I appreciated.
