Lauren Gentry

Teaches at Unarthodox

Lauren Gentry is thrilled to be a part of the Unarthodox family!  She is a teaching artist and actress here in New York City.  Lauren has taught theater and movement to refugee youth with Artists Striving to End Poverty as well as the International Rescue Committee and the Burmese Community Center for Education. She has also taught at Citibabes Preschool.  Lauren earned a B.A in Theater from Butler University. Her greatest passion is bringing the arts into the lives of kids to create a safe, healing outlet for expression which builds self-confidence and explores the vitality of the human spirit.
