John Estrada

Teaches at Easy Español

John has had fifteen years of experience teaching Spanish and Hispanic Literature mostly to undergraduate and graduate students. He has a B.A. degree in Philosophy and Comparative Literature from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia; and an M.A. in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literature from City University of New York; CUNY. He is a PhD candidate at City University of New York, CUNY, working on a dissertation in Medieval Spanish Literature. John teaches Spanish and Hispanic Literature as an Adjunct Lecturer at Hostos Community College and Medgar Evers College, City University of New York. Prior to CUNY he taught at Yeshiva University and State University of New York (SUNY). Born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, John is a U.S. Resident who has lived in New York for twenty years. He loves French and Italian cinema and is an expert on Spanish wine and coffee from all over the world.
