James Russell has been leading courses at BBG since 2000. His background of service at public gardens include the High Line, the Battery Conservancy and the Prospect Park Zoo. After working with prestigious design firms in NYC, he now creates gardens for select clients. He earned his BBG Certificate in Horticulture in 1998.
