Miette means, "little crumb" in French. This name was chosen while giving cooking classes at the restaurant Tartine in the West Village. Since Tartine means "slice of bread" we thought it an appropriate name for the school!

Chef was wonderful! He answered all our (many) questions and the food was delicious! I cannot wait to come back for another class. If you want the real deal on how to make gnocchi...and vodka sauce ...take this class! The Genovese family and friends will definitely be back!

I didn’t feel like I learned much because the courses were divided amongst the class and a lot of the work was pre done for us. It felt pretty beginner. Food was great, but didn’t learn much.
